Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders

The jaw joints are referred to as Temporomandibular joint ( TMJ) and therefore any problems related to the TMJ is called TMJ disorder or simply TMD(Temporo Mandibular Disorders). TMD’s include stiffness in Jaw joints, clicks or noises in the jaw joints, pain while eating, inflammation and locking of joints (open lock and closed lock)
